Luxury 6BR Villa @ Windsor Resort | Pool + Lazy River + Free Welcome Gift

Pricy for what it was ($320 a day after tax for 13 nights ), however I’d stay again if there were no other options. Positive: Like the location, resort was nice in the community less than 5 minute walk, whoever runs their booking.com messages was exceptional with answering questions and sending help as it was needed as well, house was clean, pretty well taken care of and had plenty of pack and play’s for babies, high chair, baby gate ect. The pool/spa heat was discounted due to the issues I was having. Negative: There were several things that weren’t working properly when we arrived such as the spa heating ( they said it was inspected and was working properly ) however the entire stay the hot tub was cold, pool was warm ish. The bathroom sink in bedroom 1 on the left drains very slowly, the game room air conditioner was not functioning properly, ( they did actually buy a new one and replace same day ). There were several places where the walls were scraped up, dressers are worn down, and tons of different places where there was damage that could potentially cause someone who did not do the damage to be charged for such ( I had the handyman confirm the first day he came out that all the damages were prior to our arrival. The garage ( game room ) doesn’t have a garage to open due to a wall built to prevent the garage door to be opened. There’s only 1 master bedroom downstairs, all other bedrooms are upstairs. The pool light was reported that it was not working several times and was never resolved during the stay, the ice maker/freezer made a weird knocking sound multiple times per hour, the dryer made a awful screeching sound for the first 5 minutes of the cycle. Probably missing a few things but otherwise it was a decent stay

Negative: DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AS THEY WITHHOLD YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR NO SENSIBLE REASON. The air com unit is boxed off so you are unable to adjust. We went in July & had to sleep in hoodies! The swimming pool had clearly not been treated as it turned green during the week. Whilst someone did come to treat it, we lost being able to use it for days of our holiday. A large chunk of our security deposit wasn’t returned to us because of ridiculous reasons created by the owners. * they claimed it was our fault that a sink was slow emptying * we were charged for a missing towel & bath mat - but there was no way for us to check how many towels we were meant to have at the start of the holiday so how could we inform them if one was missing (and who even checks how many towels they have when they arrive!!!!) * there was a missing cover on a remote control which was missing when we arrived * we had left a bottle of wine plus other unused items for the cleaner which apparently is “loose trash” for which we need to be charged The owners are completely unreasonable and use any excuse to rob you!

It was amazing. My family enjoyed the whole time. It’s a great place to be. I would recommend it to anyone Positive: The property was clean, nice and has everything that my family needs for a good vacation. Also, the water park at the clubhouse was perfect my the kids. Negative: I didn’t like the fact that If I need to use the pool heather, I had to pay for 4 days even though I was there for only 2 days.

I stayed with a group of friends (11 of us total) for a weekend as we were visiting Universal Studios. The property management communication was poor which led to a stressful stay. There were a lot of extra fees ($50 for early check in by one hour, $50 to use the grill). We were unable to use the heated pool because we didn’t meet the 4 night minimum stay. I asked to check in early and was told that I would be notified if I could do this a few days early. I wasn’t, so I had to message them myself that day to ask about early check in. I paid extra to use the BBQ grill and didn’t receive the combination lock code until I messaged for it that evening. I also had to buy a brand new propane tank in addition to paying the fee to be able to use the grill. There were multiple things needed attention in the house when we arrived—red smudges on the wall in the upstairs bathroom, the lighter on the grill wasn’t working, two of the bathroom locks were broken which led two of us to get stuck in the bathroom until we could jiggle it loose. We also couldn’t lock the front door from the outside because the front door lock wasn’t working. The temperature controls for the AC/heat were locked in boxes and it was set to 70F which was freezing downstairs overnight. The check-out instructions I received by email and the check-out instructions in the book in the house were different which was confusing. I would not recommend staying at this property.
